Run your own numbers.

Put your address in and Google scores it in front of you — the same test I run on every site I build.

Takes about 30 seconds. Runs on Google's own PageSpeed Insights — same test, same thresholds.

Why it matters

What those four numbers actually cost you.

Performance
How fast it loads on a phone, on cell service. Google and Deloitte tracked 30 million sessions across 37 retail sites and found that a tenth of a second of extra speed lifted conversions by 8.4%. A tenth of a second. Most people who leave a slow site leave before they have seen a thing. Deloitte / Google, Milliseconds Make Millions
Accessibility
Whether people can actually use it — thin contrast, unlabelled buttons, tap targets too small for a work glove. Older customers hit that first, and they are usually the ones ready to spend. It is also what gets businesses sued: 3,117 web accessibility lawsuits in 2025, up 27%, mostly against small and mid-sized companies. Most arrive as a demand letter and settle in five figures. 2025 web accessibility litigation analysis
Best practices
The plumbing underneath — out-of-date code, insecure requests, things browsers are starting to warn people about. That warning lands at the exact moment someone was about to call.
SEO
Whether Google can read the page well enough to show it to someone searching for what you do. A site nobody can find is an expensive business card.

Questions

Asked and answered.

What does it cost?

$3,999 for founding clients, $5,999 after that — or $1,999 down and $250/month for eight months, interest-free. The $149/month care plan runs alongside it, so on the payment plan you're at $399/month for those eight months. And I'll say this plainly rather than dance around it: you can find a website cheaper than this, and I'd never pretend otherwise. I just believe what I build is better, and you don't have to take my word for that — run your own site through the speed test up the page, then run one of mine through it. Those numbers are measured rather than claimed, and they put my sites ahead of most of what's out there. With a website you generally get what you pay for.

How long does it take, and how much of my time?

Two to three weeks. From you it's about an hour on a kickoff call and then two rounds of review — three hours of your time, give or take. You're approving the work rather than making it. I know your days are already full.

Who writes the copy? Do I need to supply photos?

I write it, and no, you don't have to. Copy, layout and images are all included — I write from our kickoff call and whatever you already have, and you see every word before it goes anywhere near the build. On photos: send me as many as you can, even rough ones off your phone. I'll edit and improve whatever you give me, and generate tasteful AI imagery to fill any gaps. The more real pictures I have of your team, your trucks and your finished work, the better the site looks — but nothing waits on you if they aren't ready.

What if I don't like the design?

Then we change it — and you'll have seen it coming long before that point. You approve a homepage direction before I build anything else, so the finished site is never a surprise at the end. From there you get two full rounds of revisions. I'd far rather adjust something early than hand you a site you're quietly unhappy with.

Will I lose my Google rankings?

It's a fair thing to worry about, and it's how a lot of redesigns go wrong. Your existing URLs stay where they are wherever possible, anything that has to move gets a permanent redirect, and all of your content comes with you. The technical side usually improves as well — the sites I build load in about a second and pass Google's Core Web Vitals, which counts toward ranking.

Can I update it myself?

You're welcome to ask for anything, any time. New hours, a price change, a swapped photo, a paragraph reworded — send it over and it's usually done the same day, covered by the care plan's monthly hour. There's no dashboard to learn and nothing you can accidentally break.

Do I own it?

Completely — code, domain, content, analytics. The care plan runs through the first year, and until the build is paid off if you're on the payment plan. After that it's month to month. If you ever decide to move on, I'll hand over the repository and the domain and help you get settled wherever you're going. It's your site.

What does the $149 care plan cover?

Hosting, updates, backups, uptime and speed monitoring, and an hour of edits every month — new hours, a price change, a swapped photo, a paragraph rewritten. Almost everything fits comfortably inside the hour. Anything beyond that first hour is charged at $100/hour, and I'll always tell you what it'll come to before I start rather than after. The hour doesn't roll over to the next month, so do use it. New pages and full redesigns are their own thing and I'd quote those separately.

How will I know if it's working?

You'll be able to see it for yourself. Analytics and Search Console go in on day one, calls and form submissions are counted as conversions, and every visit carries its source along with it — so you can tell a lead that came from a Google ad from one that came from Facebook, from someone who just searched your name. If you're spending anything on ads, that's the difference between knowing and guessing.

Do you do SEO?

On-page and technical SEO, yes, and it ships finished on every build: clean structure, schema markup, a real sitemap, and a page that loads in about a second. That's the groundwork, and it's the easiest part to skip. Ongoing off-page work — citations, link building, monthly content — isn't something I offer just yet, though it's coming soon and I'm building it out now. I'd rather tell you that straight than sell you something I'm not set up to do properly, and when it's ready you'll be the first to know.

Why not just use Wix, Squarespace or WordPress?

Honestly, you can — I built on all three for years before I changed how I work. With Wix and Squarespace you're renting: slower on mobile, you don't own the platform, and a lot of businesses in town end up picking from the same handful of templates. WordPress you do own, but you've also taken on maintaining it — plugins to update, plugins that fall out with each other, and a site that gets a little slower each year unless somebody's minding it. What I build has no plugins to age. It'll still load in about a second three years from now with nobody touching it.

Am I working with you, or getting handed to a team?

Me, start to finish. I'm here in Henderson, I do the work myself, and you'll have my number. Nothing gets outsourced, and you won't be passed along to somebody else once you've signed.
